BIO

Portland, OR guitarist Ben Haynor has been gigging solo and with NW bands of all genres since moving to Portland in 2003.  His current eclectic funk group, Hammerhead, is made up of some the best veteran musicians in town and can regularly be seen grooving venues around Portland.

With degrees in jazz performance and music education Ben is a versatile musician who has worn many hats as a lead and solo guitarist.  Beyond Hammerhead he has played in countless country, swing, jazz, rock and acoustic groups.  He has equally spent time recording and playing solo jazz and classical gigs for private events.  His recordings have been licensed by ABC, NPR and The North Face to name a few.
